Guilt - TCM Cover Contest

Hoooo my gosh, I'm in love with this painting. When making the background.... I don't know how I did it. All I know is that I started painting with this one brush, and whoosh. And I will forever be in love with that brush.

I had thrown around some ideas, but this one didn't come until one day when I was laying on my bed, trying to get rid of a headache, and suddenly this popped into my head. 

I find Kira to be very interesting. Colin from the Ordinary Farm series, and Draco (in the Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows) are some of my favorite characters, because they're trying to figure out what's the right thing to do, and I'm just rooting for them so hard to get on the good guys' side, like Kira. I hope she gets redemption.

But honestly, the character I'm most sorry for is Fen. He was the most directly impacted by the war (okay, yeah, Ari was too, but at least he got a pretty peaceful childhood).

But yeah. I had a lot of fun drawing this, and I really hope enough people enter.
